A retired executive in Vero Beach, Florida, Quinton Oswald has worked with companies across the country, including SARcode Corporation and Neurotech. In addition, Quinton Oswald of Vero Beach served as the CEO of Notal Vision, an early-stage diagnostic and monitoring platform for eye conditions.

Notal Vision has successfully developed an eye monitoring solution called ForeseeHome. ForeseeHome has been approved by the FDA and is also covered by Medicare and many private insurance plans.

ForeseeHome enables quick detection of the switch from dry to wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) at an early stage, when treatment can help preserve visual acuity. Wet AMD is capable of causing central vision loss if treatment is not initiated on time. Many people develop wet AMD not long after being diagnosed with dry AMD (a less severe form of AMD that is untreatable).

When dry AMD progresses to wet AMD, there is a high risk of significant vision loss. Fortunately, wet AMD is treatable when diagnosed early, which is where the ForeseeHome device steps in.

ForeseeHome can be used at home, making it possible to take a quick eye test every day. The test takes only a few minutes per eye, and the tool autonomously sends the test result to Notal Vision’s proprietary monitoring center, a system that scans the result for any significant change in eye condition. If the system detects a significant change in the eye condition, it will alert the patient’s physician, who can perform further diagnostics for potential wet AMD and initiate treatment if necessary.
